The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM at the clubhouse. Andrew Goodspeed (president), Lara Foreman (vice-president), Sue Juliano of Today American Management, Wayne Foreman, and Don Hart were in attendance; Frank Boduch (secretary/treasurer) was unable to attend do to last minute circumstances.

Minutes for the 3JAN00 meeting being unavailable, review was deferred until the next meeting.

New Business

Pool Committee

Don Hart, chair of the pool committee, presented the pool committee report. Options for repair and replacement of the current fence were presented. Replacing the current residential grade fence with a commercial grade fence of steel or aluminum was proposed in excess of $11,500; wrought iron placed it above $15,000, and required a higher maintenance cost. Repair was set at $1035.34, including modifications to the closure and latch mechanisms of the gates.

Andrew made the motion that the pool committee's recommendation to repair the existing fence be accepted. Lara seconded, and Don will contact the company to arrange for repair.  The possibility of providing vending machines for drinks and snacks in the pool area was discussed. Don agreed to investigate the vending services available.

Sports Committee

The sports committee's report indicated that an upcoming committee meeting would address numerous sports related issues.

Kids Committee

The kid's committee has added a Tuesday section to the weekly (formerly Wednesday) play day. Lara made the motion that the clubhouse be allowed as needed for this additional activity. Andrew seconded, and Lara will convey the approval.

Security Committee

The security committee and the kid's committee are co-sponsoring the COPS bicycle rodeo on 4MAR00 from 9-11.

Social Committee

The social committee reported a successful Super Bowl party. Plans call for spreading the word on the facilities available at the clubhouse, a clubhouse calendar and promotion on the web site, and the summer pool opening party.

Andrew motioned approval for miscellaneous expenses on a fire extinguisher, repair of the clubhouse stove fire suppression unit, and Super Bowl party expenses. Lara seconded.

The next meeting was set for Monday, 6MAR00 at 7:00 at the clubhouse. The

meeting was adjourned at 8:30.
