The Landscape Committee is responsible for the
landscape in the neighborhood. They plan, install and maintain the
common areas. The community landscape plan was commissioned by this
committee and they are in charge of implementing the plan. They also
are responsible for the care and maintenance of the community sprinkler

Comments from this month's winners:
We are honored in being selected as the HOA yard of the month though
we are novices in the gardening world! Our back yard is our haven of peace
and serenity. We cleared our upper back yard above our retaining wall and
added a flagstone path, an iron gate and arbor, as well as created a fung
shei octagon garden with raised beds for herbs and annual vegetables.
Garden benches and seating areas were added as it is here we feel one with
nature and appreciate the beauty as do our two lazy cats. We taught
ourselves through previous membership at the Norcross Garden Club, reading
gardening books and visiting many web sites -- one of our favorites, which
includes bi-weekly reminders for the garden, is www.nationalgardening.com. We
have future plans to install a waterfall and pond.
