The Neighbor Referrals page is designed to provide you,
the Avocet homeowner, with a resource to help locate home service
companies or individuals such as painters, carpet cleaners, contractors,
landscapers, etc.
There are many different ways to locate such
companies. One way is to "let your fingers do the walking"
through the yellow pages. You can also search the internet for local
companies specializing in the work you are considering having done. And,
while both of these methods provide results, sometimes you still aren't
sure about the quality of work you will receive.
The best way, and we think you will agree, is to get
recommendations or referrals from friends, co-workers or neighbors. For
instance, if your neighbor has a great looking fence and you are
considering having a fence built, then what you will probably do is ask
your neighbor "So, who built your fence?" "Were you happy
with their work?" "Was the price right?" "Would you
recommend them?"

like to provide for you here! Recommendations and referrals from your
neighbors...
